We need to give because everything we own is God’s. Scripture tells us we are to give joyfully, humbly, and sacrifically, as a reminder of all that God has done for us. Malachi 3:10 we see where God tells us to bring our offering to Him, and He will provide what we need. We also see in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that we are to give joy to God. Not because we have to, but because we know that our giving changes lives.
