How Can I SERVE?
Growing in community, requires each of us to serve. To out serve each other in love. We are not the church , without each member of the body serving in their giftedness in Christ.
BAPTISM
We believe baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Being a church ordinance, it is a prerequisite to the privileges of church membership.
NEW MEMBER CLASS
Everyone desiring to join Harvest Baptist Fellowship must complete a new member class. This class is designed to provide information about the church including the core values and expectations of a church member. Prior to the class, prospective members will be provided with a book to read (I Am a Church Member) and a journal.
